Our own trucks and drivers. Your freight rides with the carrier that's actually moving it — ramp to door, no handoffs.
Real status on your box, not a black hole. Call and reach the people actually moving it.
We own the container from ramp to delivery and back — our wheels, our responsibility. No finger-pointing.
Straight answers to what brokers and shippers ask us most — no jargon, no runaround.
Drayage is the short-haul trucking that moves a shipping container between a port or rail ramp and its next stop — a warehouse, distribution center, or transload facility. It's the first and last mile of intermodal freight. We run drayage across Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, and the greater Pacific Northwest.
Intermodal is the whole journey — ocean, rail, and truck combined. Drayage is the truck part: pulling the container off the ship or train, running it where it's going, and bringing the empty back. We handle the drayage leg.
On a live load, our driver waits while the box is loaded or unloaded, then takes it. On drop & hook, we drop the container at your dock and grab it later — nobody's waiting and your freight keeps moving. We do both.
A street turn is reusing an imported empty container for an export load instead of running it back to the terminal first. It saves a trip and cuts cost, and we set them up wherever the steamship lines allow it.
A pre-pull is when we pull your container off the ramp or terminal before your last free day and hold it — so you don't rack up demurrage while you wait to unload. Handy when your dock isn't ready yet.
We watch your last-free-day and per-diem clock and plan the move around it — pre-pulls, drop-and-hook, and fast turns — so your box moves before the fees hit. When something's out of our hands, you hear it from us first.
Portland, Seattle, and Tacoma, plus the greater Pacific Northwest — the rail ramps (Union Pacific, BNSF) and the marine terminals (Port of Portland, Northwest Seaport Alliance).
Not much. Our authority, insurance, and UIIA are in order and our setup packet is ready to go. Brokers can drop their MC# or DOT# right on the quote form and we'll take it from there.
Tell us the lane and the box. We'll get you a rate — same day.
